Oat and Strawberry Smoothie

The perfect snack for hot summer days, this smoothie recipe combining oatmeal, milk, Greek yogurt, maple syrup, bananas and fresh strawberries also makes perfect popsicles for a healthy and nourishing summer treat!

Freeze for three months

  • Ingredients

    • 250 ml (1 cup) quick-cooking oatmeal
    • 500 ml (2 cups) milk
    • 500 ml (2 cups) plain Greek yogurt
    • 500 ml (2 cups) fresh strawberries
    • 1 ripe banana
    • 60 ml (¼ cup) maple syrup
    • 2.5 ml (½ tsp) vanilla essence
  • Preparation

    1. Place the oats in a blender and pulse until finely ground. Add all other ingredients and blend until smooth. Feel free to spoon the smoothie mixture into popsicle molds for a frozen snack.
