Roasted baloney sandwich for lunchbox

  • Ingredients

    • 8 slices whole wheat bread
    • 16 slices baloney
    • 4 tbsp butter
    • 4 tsp mustard (optional)
    • 4 lettuce leaves (optional)
    • 2 cups coleslaw
  • Preparation

    1. Make small cuts around the edges of the baloney slices to prevent them from curling during cooking.
    2. Lightly grill the baloney slices in a pan, about 1 minute per side.
    3. Butter the bread slices.
    4. Spread a little mustard on the bread slices if desired.
    5. Place 4 slices of baloney and a lettuce leaf on each sandwich.
    6. Close with the second slice of bread.
    7. Cut the sandwiches in half.
