A miniature sugar shack meal! A delicious pea soup served in a thermos, accompanied by charcuterie and maple chips for a typical Quebec lunch.

- 1L pea soup
- 200g sliced ham
- 1 cup pork rinds
- 4 maple cones
- ¼ cup maple syrup

Preparation
- Prepare the pea soup according to your family recipe or use a store-bought version.
- Heat the soup before pouring it into the thermoses.
- Arrange the ham slices in the compartments of the containers.
- Add the potato chips and a maple cone to each container.
- Pour the syrup into small, airtight containers.
- Fill the thermoses with hot soup and close them tightly.

Notes and tips
Pea soup freezes very well in individual portions.
Thermoses should be preheated with boiling water to keep the soup hot.
For a more complete lunch, add raw vegetables such as carrots or celery.
Maple cones can be replaced with maple cookies.
