French toast with cheese
Ingredients
- 3/4 t. cream 15%
- 3/4 t. of milk
- 2 t. grated mozzarella cheese (or other cheese of your choice)
- 4 beaten eggs
- 2 tbsp. tablespoons chopped fresh chives
- 6 t. loaves of bread (500g), diced
- Butter to grease a mold
- Flour for flouring a mold
- 1/2 t. crumbled bacon
- 2 chopped green onions
- 2 plum tomatoes, diced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Path to follow
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
- In a large bowl, combine the cream, milk, cheese, eggs and chives. Salt and pepper. Add the bread, mix well to soak all the bread cubes. Let stand 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, butter and flour a large springform pan (about 10 inches).
- Add the rest of the ingredients to the first mixture and press into the mold. Place it on a baking sheet.
- Bake for about 45 minutes or until golden brown. Unmold and serve.
