Comforting mug cake

Want a little something sweet, but don't want to make a big batch of dessert that will keep you eating it for a long time? This chocolate mug cake can be made in just five minutes and is sure to satisfy any sweet tooth!

  • Ingredients

    • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
    • 2 tbsp brown sugar
    • 2 tsp cocoa powder
    • ¼ tsp baking powder
    • 1 pinch of salt
    • 3 tbsp milk
    • 1 tbsp canola oil
    • 1 tbsp milk chocolate chips
  • Preparation

    1. In a 1¼ cup (325 ml) coffee mug, mix together the flour, brown sugar, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
    2. Add milk and oil. Mix well.
    3. Add the chocolate chips and mix again.
    4. Microwave for 30 to 45 seconds depending on the power of the appliance.
    5. Let cool for 2 minutes and enjoy.
