Chicken Lasagna

  • Ingredients

    • 9 lasagna pasta
    • 2 cups coarsely chopped cooked chicken
    • 1 cup asparagus, cooked in small pieces
    • 1 cup green peas
    • 1 to 2 tbsp poultry spices
    • Salt and pepper from the mill
    • 3 cups Alfredo sauce
    • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Preparation

    1. Preheat oven to 400F.
    2. In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Stir in lasagna noodles and cook for 13 minutes or until al dente. Drain and set aside.
    3. In a rectangular baking dish, spread a third of the sauce and cover with 3 lasagna noodles.
    4. Add chicken and 1/3 of sauce. Cover with 3 more noodles.
    5. Add the vegetables. Cover with the last 3 lasagna noodles.
    6. Drizzle with remaining sauce and sprinkle with grated cheese.
    7. Bake for 30 minutes or until cheese is melted and lightly browned.
