  • Ingredients

    • 8 slices white bread
    • 400g cooked chicken, crumbled
    • 2 cups frozen peas
    • 2 cups store-bought brown sauce
    • Salt, pepper
  • Preparation

    -Heat the brown sauce

    -Cook the peas in boiling water for 3-4 minutes

    -Cut sandwiches in half, top with chicken

    -Pour the hot brown sauce into the thermoses

    -Distribute sandwiches and peas in the containers

Notes and tips

-The sauce must be very hot when pouring it into the thermos.
-The peas can be crushed slightly so that they do not roll.
-Day-old bread is ideal because it absorbs the sauce better.
-Sandwiches can be reheated before adding the sauce.
-The sauce can be diluted with broth if it thickens too much.
