Salmon Burgers

Treat yourself to a delicious and healthy alternative to traditional burgers with these delicious salmon burgers. Prepared with fresh salmon and a touch of herbs, these burgers are perfect for a light but no less satisfying meal!

The pancakes can be frozen for three months.

  • Ingredients

    For the salmon cakes:

    • 1 lb fresh salmon, skinless and diced
    • 1 egg
    • 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
    • 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives
    • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
    • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
    • Salt and pepper from the mill
    • Olive oil

    For assembly:

    • 6 burger buns
    • Burger toppings of your choice (avocados, tomatoes, pickles, mayo, etc.)
  • Preparation

    1. In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients for the patties. Form 6 patties.
    2. Preheat the air fryer to 400F.
    3. Place a perforated parchment paper or a perforated silicone mat on the bottom of the air fryer.
    4. Place 3 salmon patties and spray or brush with a little olive oil.
    5. Cook for 12 minutes, turning halfway through cooking.
    6. Keep the pancakes warm. Repeat the same operations with the other 3 pancakes.
    7. Heat the burger buns for 2 to 3 minutes in the air fryer.
    8. Place the salmon patties on 6 half buns, add your favorite toppings and cover with the other 6 half buns.
    9. Please note that the time may vary depending on your type of air fryer. Reduce or extend the cooking time depending on the desired results.
