Beef with vegetables and croutons

Simply combine ground beef, diced tomatoes and frozen peas, top with croutons and you have a dish that's ready in just a few minutes and is as tasty as you want!

  • Ingredients

    • 1 tbsp olive oil
    • 450g lean ground beef
    • 1 large can diced tomatoes, drained
    • 1 cup frozen peas
    • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
    • Salt and pepper
    • 4 slices of bread, cut into small cubes
    • 2 tbsp olive oil
    • 1 tbsp dried basil
  • Preparation

    1. Preheat oven to 400F.
    2. In an ovenproof skillet, heat the oil and cook the ground beef for 5 minutes.
    3. Add the tomatoes, peas and garlic, salt and pepper.
    4. In a bowl, coat the bread with olive oil and basil. Add the diced bread on top of the beef.
    5. Bake for 10 minutes or until bread is golden brown.
