Beginner's guide to creating a filling station at home
07 November, 2022
To facilitate the maintenance of the house and the storage of the various products necessary for this purpose , we offer you at Les Belles Combines the installation of a filling and cleaning station, which will not only allow you to gather in one place everything you will need to make the house shine, but also to save time and money possible thanks to bulk purchases. In addition, the use of "refill" formats will allow you to use less plastic and thus contribute concretely to the preservation of the environment, in addition to transmitting sustainable ecological values to your children.
Are you now convinced that setting up your own refill station at home is a good idea? Find an unused space in your home where you can install a shelf with about three shelves (strong enough to support the weight of the refill boxes), a rolling cart or an unused closet (or one filled with items you no longer need and could pass on!) and get to work!
Here's what you can include, obviously in large formats :
For body care
- Shampoo and conditioner
- Moisturizing body lotion
- Hand soap
- Bar soap
For home maintenance
- Dishwasher tablets
- Dish soap
- Epsom salt
- Baking soda
- Disinfectant powder
Various products, to be purchased in large quantities in order to always have them in reserve
- Sponges
- Scouring pads
- Magic erasers
- Paper towels (ideally reusable!)
- A stain remover product
Household items
- Broom
- Mop
- Bucket
- Feather duster
Finally, consider including a small basket in your filling/cleaning station that will allow your children to easily carry everything they need (bottle of all-purpose cleaner, bottle of window cleaner, sponge, scouring pad and reusable paper towels) to carry out their household chores.
