If your children have been actively involved in household chores from a very young age, they are probably already very independent and need less and less of your help to accomplish their various little tasks. Here are some tips that will allow you to further develop their autonomy and encourage their full collaboration :

  • At this age, it's time to develop your children's pro-activity and get them to take the initiative in doing household chores on their own. To do this, at the start of the week, place all the magnets of the tasks to be accomplished on a table of household chores and ask your children to choose one each day.
  • Children are often naturally attracted to the kitchen by making cookies, muffins or any other dessert; to make it easier for them and allow them to prepare delicious snacks for the whole family, remember to store all the baking essentials in one place : measuring cups and spoons, muffin and cake pans, spatulas, basic ingredients (flour , baking powder, cocoa, etc.), etc.
  • If your child tidies up his room in a hurry and the cleaning leaves something to be desired, make sure he follows each of the steps to achieve for a tidy room thanks to this practical door hanger !

Does your child grumble when you ask him to walk the dog he's been begging you to have for years? If you haven't done so yet, complete the pet adoption contract with him, which will remind him of the commitments made when you made the decision to welcome an animal into your home:
